CICON ASEAN 5+: When AI Opens a New Chapter for Regional Collaboration

Held on October 22–23, 2025, CICON ASEAN 5+ 2025 brought together senior representatives from Korea, Vietnam, and ASEAN 5+ countries under the theme: “The AI Era: Economic Innovation Strategies among Korea, Vietnam, and ASEAN 5+.”

The event explored how artificial intelligence, smart cities, blockchain, digital finance, and agri-tech are interlinked — creating a dynamic picture of convergence between people, technology, and culture.
And within that vision, Kim Vũ Fabric contributed a distinct hue — the green material of the future.

At CICON 2025, the Kim Vũ Fabric booth became a highlight that drew exceptional interest from international delegates — all impressed and inspired by the brand’s pioneering and meaningful sustainability projects.

Creative Connection: Kim Vũ & the Startup Generation of Văn Lang University

A unique highlight of this year’s forum was the collaboration between Kim Vũ Fabric and students from the Faculty of Public Relations & Communication – Văn Lang University.

These young creators brought a refreshing energy to Kim Vũ’s sustainable fabrics, designing the “The Story of MetaZellys” T-shirt collection — inspired by MetaZellys, a character copyrighted by designer Quỳnh Paris.

Each design tells a story of Vietnamese culture from North–Central–South, reimagined through pineapple fiber and bamboo fabric — light, graceful, and close to nature.
The collection served as a cultural bridge connecting ASEAN nations such as Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia, celebrating shared traditional aesthetics.

Kim Vũ Fabric believes that fabric is the soul of every product.
By providing sustainable materials (coffee fiber, pineapple fiber, bamboo fiber) to young startups, Kim Vũ demonstrates its commitment to nurturing Vietnamese creativity and sustainability.

Through this collaboration with Văn Lang University, Kim Vũ has reaffirmed its role as:

  • A trusted fabric supplier: Offering premium materials and hands-on guidance, accompanying students from concept to finished product.
  • A source of green inspiration: Encouraging students to bring their eco-conscious fashion ideas to life through sustainable fabrics.
  • A supporter of Vietnamese startups: Providing materials and mentorship to transform creative ideas into tangible, market-ready products.

Sustainable Fashion in the AI Era – A Dream Within Reach

As the lights at Vinpearl Landmark 81 dimmed, Kim Vũ’s small booth continued to draw visitors — reaching out to touch the fabrics, asking about processes, meanings, and philosophies behind them.

No words were needed. The fabrics themselves spoke — a voice of sustainability, creativity, and national pride, woven by Vietnamese hands, telling the world a new story of fashion.

Kim Vũ Fabric sincerely thanks CICON ASEAN 5+ 2025 for creating a space where technology meets emotion, and Văn Lang University along with its young talents for joining hands on this meaningful journey of creativity and sustainability.

Kim Vu Fabric x Nam Phong | Launch the old clothing regeneration project: A journey to create circular fashion

The rapid rise of fast fashion has led to alarming environmental consequences. This trend encourages consumers to shop frequently, driving mass production and rapid disposal of clothing. Tons of discarded apparel end up in landfills or pollute ecosystems, contaminating soil, water, and air. The striking image of the “world’s clothing dump” in Accra, Ghana, receiving 15 million discarded garments weekly, serves as a wake-up call to the destructive impact of fast fashion.
